Mauricio Maia is an amateur, self-taught musician. He lives in Coelho da Rocha, in the Baixada Fluminense, suburb of Rio de Janeiro. Each time he wants to play the piano, he embarks on a journey from the periphery to the city center, mapping pianos to play. He follows his intuition, but not everything he finds is good. His eyes glow every time he discovers a piano open to the public, in tune, ready for him to sit and play. Mauricio believes his music "will guide his future", and having a piano is fundamental.
