Meinardas Valkevicius
Lithuania, 2017, 4 min.

Human activity does not always have a positive effect on our planet. The short animated film Look explores natural cycles of exchange between humans and animals. Dare to look and change the world.

Director's Statement

Since childhood I loved watching animated films, later I started creating them myself. I always wanted that my films would be beautiful as well as have a deeper meaning. Look has my particular interest, as I wanted to show the worsening ecological problem in our planet. As a father and a creator, I want my children or any other viewer to be able to go outside, see green and breathe without fear. Therefore, wanted to create a film that would inspire at least a few to stop and take a look and decide to change by responsibly looking at their trash.

Category: Animation.
Themes: Environment, Animals, Education, World Cinema.
